Through speaking engagements, I love to share sports and wellness related topics and also engaging presentations on the parallel between an athlete’s perspective and how it can be applied to other non athletic endeavours – I call that: “We all have our own IRONMAN®”.
KEYNOTES – 45 to 60 minutes in duration
SO, YOU WANT TO DO AN IRONMAN® –
I decided to start training for an Ironman back in 2014 after I spent almost a year in New York, 10 days every month on a very tight budget, to try to put together an Off Broadway show. It didn’t work, it was time to go back to my roots – sports. I was sure that at least training would made me feel achieving tangible results. Finishing the 2015 Whistler Ironman was the cherry on the cake.
Deciding to embark on the journey to do an IRONMAN® can be quite daunting. I’ll share both my experience as an athlete and IRONMAN® certified coach various ways to plan your journey and to maximise the chances to experience the immense satisfaction to hear, when you cross the finish line, the legendary: “YOU ARE AN IRONMAN!”
WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN IRONMAN® –
An IRONMAN® is a long distance triathlon where you have to swim 3.8km / 2.4 mile, bike 180km / 112 mile and run a marathon 42 km / 26.22 mile. It is a huge physical and mental challenge.
Commitment, endurance, patience, planification, consistency are amongst others, key approaches to develop in order to improve your chances to finish the race.
In this presentation, I’d like to extend these key behaviours to other challenges we decide to tackle. This is a dynamic presentation where we’ll talk about swim, bike and run but also about challenges audience members have or dream to tackle and how to build a great strategy to achieve them.
VOICE OVER – KIDS BOOKS
I used to read loads of books to my kids, therefore whenever I have the chance to collaborate on children books, I jump on it!
VOICE OVER – COMMERCIAL, NARRATION, ANIMATION
Voice is a tricky and powerful instrument. Its use has to be appropriate with the production or show’s end result. Following are few examples both in French - my mother tongue and in English - with a Parisian French accent.
